14 Day Business Visa

Qatari citizens can enter the UAE without a visa. Many people searching for a Dubai visa application for Qatari citizens actually live in Qatar on another passport, and for them the rules are different. This page covers both groups and shows you how to apply for a Dubai visa online if you need one.
Dubaievisaonline is a private visa service provider. We are not a UAE government body, and approval always rests with UAE immigration. We prepare and submit your request, so you can focus on your trip.
Citizens of GCC countries, including Qatar, do not need a visa or a sponsor to visit the UAE. The UAE government says they only need to show their GCC passport or national ID card at the point of entry. If you are a Qatari national, you do not need to buy a visa from us or from anyone else.
We say this clearly because some websites sell visas to people who do not need them. If you hold Qatari nationality, save your money. Our service is built for travellers who do need an entry permit, such as Qatar residents on other passports and their family members.
The Dubai entry requirements for Qatari citizens are short. You show a valid Qatari passport or national ID card at the UAE border, and you do not need a sponsor or an online application. Always carry the original document, not a photo on your phone.
There is no list of Dubai visa documents for Qatari citizens to upload, because no visa is needed. If you travel with a spouse or children who are not Qatari nationals, check their status separately. Their documents and entry rules may be different from yours.
If your passport or ID is damaged, expired or close to expiry, renew it before the trip. Border officers can only accept valid documents.
Some travellers search for a tourist visa out of habit, or after reading Dubai advice written for other nationalities. Under GCC rules, a Qatari national does not need one for a holiday or a short city break from Doha.
A Dubai visit visa for Qatari citizens is also not required. If an agent asks you to pay for one, ask them to explain which rule applies to your nationality. If they cannot, do not pay.
Most of the people who need our service live in Qatar but do not hold a GCC passport. Living in Qatar does not give you the same entry rights as a Qatari national. Your own passport decides what the UAE asks for.
In practice, travellers from Qatar fall into three groups:
A Qatar residence permit does not replace a visa. Whether you need an entry permit depends on your passport, and conditions can change, so confirm before you book.
Think of it as a short decision path. First, look at the passport you will travel on. Second, check whether that nationality is exempt from a UAE entry permit or can get a visa on arrival. Third, if neither applies, choose a visit visa that fits your dates and apply online before you buy flights. Your Qatar residence supports the request, but it does not change the first two steps.
If you work, study or live with family in Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah or another Qatari city, you are in the expat group. Your Qatar residence details can support your application, and you may be asked for them. Your passport still comes first.
Dependants need the same care. A spouse and children on your sponsorship may hold the same passport as you or a different one. Each traveller is assessed on their own passport. If you are wondering about family and work rules, see our guide on whether a wife can work on a husband's visa in the UAE.
For more on residents' options, read our Qatar residents visa guide.
Passport nationality and country of residence are two separate things. The UAE decides entry rules mainly by passport. Your residence permit shows where you live and can support an application, but it is not a passport.
Questions about a Qatari passport holders Dubai visa have a simple answer: a Qatari passport means visa-free GCC entry. The harder cases are mixed ones. Here are the common situations:
Do not assume that a Qatar residence permit gives visa-free entry. Do not assume that an old visa stamp in another passport carries over. Holders of other residence cards, such as a US Green Card, have their own rules. See our guide for US Green Card holders.
Visitors who need an entry permit can choose from several visit visa types on Dubaievisaonline. Each type has its own page showing stay length, validity window, entry type and a processing estimate. The main tourist options are:
Other options include a 14 day business visa, a 48 hour transit visa and a 96 hour transit visa. Visa extensions are listed too.
Some people search for a 30 day Dubai visa for Qatari citizens or a 60 day Dubai visa for Qatari citizens. Those durations belong to visit visas for travellers who need an entry permit. Qatari nationals enter under GCC rules, so these options are meant for Qatar residents on other passports.
Choose single entry if you plan one trip. Choose multiple entry if you expect to leave and re-enter the UAE during your stay. Not every option suits every passport, so the application form shows what is available for your nationality and residence.
If you want to stay longer or relocate, read about long-term Dubai visa options. If you plan to work rather than visit, see our note on a UAE visa without a degree certificate.
Requirements depend on the visa type and your passport. Most applications ask for the same core items:
Do not cover any part of the passport page with a finger, paper or another object. A cut-off or blurred scan is one of the most common reasons for delays. Some visa types ask for extra documents, so read the page for your chosen option before you start.
A Dubai visa application from Qatar takes only a few minutes when your documents are ready. The process is fully online, so you can apply from home in Doha or from your office. Follow these steps:
Good uploads save time. Use the original passport, not a photocopy of a photocopy. Scan or photograph the bio page in good light with all four corners visible. Make sure the name, date of birth, passport number and expiry date can be read clearly.
For the photo, face the camera with a plain white background and no filters. If your upload is rejected, replace it with a sharper file rather than resubmitting the same one.
Enter names in the same spelling and order as the passport. A spelling mismatch between the form and the passport can create problems at the border.
Qatari citizens do not pay a visa fee, because no visa is needed. For Qatar residents who do need a permit, the fee depends on the visa type, the length of stay, the entry type and the nationality of the applicant.
Dubaievisaonline states that its price includes UAE government charges and its sponsorship service fee. Check the amount shown in your application before you pay. We do not publish one fixed government fee on this page, because fees change and differ by visa type. Do not treat any service price as an official government fee.
Your payment covers the visa application itself. In general it includes:
It does not include flights, hotels, travel insurance, extension charges or overstay fines.
People often ask for the Dubai visa price for Qatari citizens when what they really need is the price for a Qatar resident. Longer stays usually cost more than shorter ones, and multiple entry options usually cost more than single entry ones. The price for your exact option is shown on its visa page.
Processing time depends on the visa type, the quality of your documents and UAE immigration workload. Each visa page shows an estimate. For the 30 day and 60 day single entry options, the estimate currently shown is three to four days. Some shorter permits show one to two days.
These are estimates, not promises. We cannot guarantee a result or a timeline, because approval rests with UAE immigration.
Your own file affects the timing too. A clear passport scan, a sharp photo and a correctly spelled name help the request move forward. A missing document or a mismatch between the form and the passport can add days while you upload a correction.
Apply as soon as your dates are firm, and leave a buffer. Before long weekends and holidays such as Eid or Qatar National Day, many people travel at once, so apply earlier than usual. Wait for approval before you buy flights.
Two different periods matter. The stay length is how long you can remain in the UAE after you enter. The validity window is how long you have to enter after the visa is issued.
For example, the 30 day options on our site currently show a 30 day stay with a 60 day validity window. The 60 day options show a 60 day stay with a 60 day validity window. Always check the details for the option you pick, because they can change.
Some visa types can be extended, and some cannot. Whether yours can be extended depends on its type. Plan any extension before your visa expires.
Do not count on a grace period after your visa ends. The current overstay rule is AED 50 per day from the first day of overstay. The fine adds up quickly, and an overstay record may cause problems with future applications.
After you submit, you receive an application ID by email. Use it on the Dubai visa status page to follow progress and download the visa once it is issued. Keep the email, and check your spam folder in case a message asks for extra documents.
If your trip is close, ask about faster handling. The express visa page shows the options for your visa type and timing. Express handling is a service option, not a guarantee, and approval still rests with UAE immigration.
Avoid sending a second application for the same traveller. A duplicate can cause confusion. If something looks wrong on your file, contact support instead of starting again.
Doha is the capital and the main city for most applicants, but the process is the same wherever you live in Qatar. Residents of Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Khor and other areas use the same online form, so you never need to travel to a visa office to apply.
Doha applicants often prepare documents from the office or at home. Scan your passport and Qatar ID early, and check expiry dates before you start. If your passport is close to expiry, renew it first, because the six month validity rule can block an application.
Here are two common situations. A professional in Doha who decides on a weekend trip should apply as soon as the dates are fixed, and wait for the approval before paying for flights. A family in Al Wakrah planning a holiday should check every passport in the household first, because one family can hold several nationalities and each passport may be treated differently.
If you plan to travel overland, remember that the route crosses another country with its own entry rules. A UAE visa does not cover those rules, so check them separately.
We do not make claims about flight routes, airline schedules or passenger numbers on this page. Check your airline for current schedules, and treat the visa and the flight as two separate steps.
