14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
If you hold a Gabonese passport, you need to plan your Dubai visa before you book your flight. Gabonese citizens generally need a visa before they travel to the UAE. You can apply for a Dubai visa online through a licensed UAE sponsor, without leaving Libreville, Port-Gentil or any other town in Gabon. This page explains your options, the documents to prepare, how fees and timing work, and the mistakes to avoid.
Dubai E Visa Online is a private visa service. We are not the UAE government and we are not affiliated with UAE immigration. Final decisions rest with the UAE authorities. We check your documents, submit your application through a UAE-based sponsor and keep you updated.
We wrote this page for travellers in Gabon. It also covers foreign residents who live in Gabon but hold another passport.
Yes, in most cases. Sources we checked list Gabon among the nationalities that must hold a visa before arriving in the UAE. We found no visa-on-arrival option for Gabonese passports. Rules can change, so confirm the current rule with your airline or the UAE immigration authority before you pay or book.
That means the order of your plans matters. Get the visa first. Then book your flights and hotel.
A visa application is the right step when:
Your passport nationality matters more than your country of residence. Two people living in Libreville can follow different rules if they hold different passports. We explain both cases below.
If your case is unclear, ask our team before you pay.
Holding a visa is not the only condition. Airlines and border officers can still ask for proof when you travel. Keep these items ready:
A visit visa is for visits. It does not give you the right to work or live in the UAE. If you plan to work, arrange the proper work authorisation first.
Check your dates against the visa. Entry must happen within the validity period, and you must leave before your permitted stay ends. Keep a record of your entry date.
Living in Gabon does not decide your visa category. Your passport does. Some foreign nationals living in Gabon can enter the UAE without a visa. Some may get a visa on arrival. Others must apply before they fly. The rule depends on the nationality printed on the passport you use to travel.
Residence still matters in some cases. A recent UAE visa-on-arrival expansion for nationals of six countries depends on a residence permit issued by certain places. The published list names the United States, EU member states, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Gabon is not on that list. A Gabonese residence permit alone does not unlock that route.
You may also hold a residence permit from another country. A US green card, for example, can change the options for some nationalities. Our guide to the Dubai visa for US green card holders covers that case. Our guide on the Dubai visa for Qatar residents also shows how a residence country can change the process.
Gabon hosts foreign workers in sectors such as oil, timber and mining, along with diplomats, aid staff, teachers and their families. Many of them want to visit Dubai for holidays or work trips. If you are an expat, follow these steps:
Work travel often comes up at short notice. Start the visa step before you buy non-refundable tickets. A Dubai visa for foreign residents in Gabon is handled by passport nationality, not by your Gabonese residence card alone.
For residents who need a visa, the core file is simple. You will usually need:
Your Gabonese residence card does not replace a passport. Keep it with you in case you are asked about your residence status. Upload it only if the form asks. In some cases we may ask for extra documents.
Our service lists several visa types. The right one depends on your trip. The table below summarises them for Gabonese travellers. Check the application page for the current list, because options and validity can change.
| Option | Best for | Note for Gabonese passport holders |
|---|---|---|
| 14-day business visa | Short business visits | Choose this if your trip is work-related |
| 30-day single entry | One holiday or family visit | A common choice for a first trip |
| 60-day single entry | One longer visit | Useful for longer family or business stays |
| Multiple entry (30 or 60 days) | Several entries within the validity period | Check validity and stay rules |
| 48 and 96-hour transit | Layovers | Only if the UAE is a stopover |
| Extensions | Travellers already in the UAE | Check rules before your stay ends |
Single entry lets you enter once. Multiple entry lets you leave and return within the visa period. Visa validity and permitted stay are not the same. Validity is the window in which you must enter. Stay is the number of days you may remain after entry. The application page shows both for each option.
For a standard holiday, a Dubai tourist visa from Gabon is the usual route. Pick the shortest option that covers your plans, and compare prices before you pay.
A 30-day single entry option suits most holidays, family visits and short trips. It gives you time to see the UAE and return home without paying for extra days.
Match the stay to your real plans. If you only need ten days, a 14-day option may fit better. Think about your flights, your leave from work and any side trips to other emirates. If your plans may change, ask us about options before you apply.
A 60-day option is for longer visits. Typical cases include extended family visits, longer business discussions or a combined trip with several stops in the UAE.
Single entry gives one entry. Multiple entry suits travellers who plan to leave and return. Compare the validity and stay shown on the application page for each. A longer option costs more, so only choose it if you will use the time.
A visit entry does not give work rights. Our article on working in the UAE on a family visa explains one related situation. For plans beyond a visit, read about long-term Dubai visa options.
A visit visa is often used for trips to see family and friends. If a relative or friend lives in the UAE, they can host you. When you stay with a host instead of a hotel, our service asks for the host's Emirates ID.
Applying for a Dubai visit visa from Gabon is similar to a tourist application, but the host details matter more. Ask your host to confirm their full name and address before you start the form. A small mismatch can delay your file.
The basic requirements are the same for most visitor options. Our service asks for the following:
Requirements can differ by visa type. Business, transit and extension applications may need extra items. Each traveller needs their own application and passport, and that includes children.
Check your passport before anything else. A passport close to expiry is one of the most common reasons plans fall apart. If you need to renew, do it first.
The UAE immigration authority makes the final decision on every application. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee approval. This is why we do not promise results.
Here is a checklist for Gabonese passport holders Dubai visa applicants. Prepare these files before you open the form.
Passport bio page. Scan the full page in one frame. Do not let a finger, paper or glare cover any detail. Make sure the passport number and dates are readable.
Photograph. Use a recent colour photo with a plain white background. Show your full face. Black and white photos are not accepted.
Flight booking. Provide your travel dates. An itinerary or reservation is usually enough at the application stage. We advise you to buy the actual ticket after your visa is approved.
Hotel booking or host details. Provide a hotel booking. If you stay with a relative or friend, provide their Emirates ID.
Name check. Gabonese civil documents are often written in French, and names may have accents or several parts. Use the spelling exactly as shown on your passport data page. Make sure your bookings match.
Keep digital copies on your phone. Keep one printed copy in your hand luggage. You may be asked to show your booking and passport when you arrive.
The process is short. Follow these steps:
Do not buy non-refundable flights before the visa is approved. Plan your timing with the processing section below.
The form, uploads and payment are all done online. You can apply from home in Libreville, from Port-Gentil or from any other town in Gabon. You only need a sharp passport scan, a photo and a stable internet connection.
Before you start, check that your bank card works for international online payments. A declined payment can slow down your plans.
Gabon is three hours behind the UAE all year. If you chat with our team, remember this gap. Send your questions early in your day so you get answers while our team is online.
Read each screen carefully before you pay. Errors in names, passport numbers or dates are hard to fix later.
The price depends on several factors: the visa type, single or multiple entry, the length of stay, the urgency and your nationality. A 60-day multiple entry option costs more than a short single entry. Express handling can add to the total.
The total Dubai visa cost from Gabon shown on the application page includes UAE government charges and our service fee. The page shows the amount before you pay, so you can compare options. We do not quote a fixed government fee here, because charges can change.
Choose the shortest option that fits your plans. A longer stay costs more, and you may not need the extra days.
Read the refund policy before you pay. Refunds depend on the stage of your application and the reason for cancellation.
Be careful with extension costs and fines. If a visitor overstays, the fine is AED 50 per day from the first day of overstay. Do not assume there is a free grace period. Plan your departure date with a margin.
Processing time depends on the visa type, the quality of your documents and the workload of the authorities. Our application page lists expected times for each option. For most standard visit options, the listed time is a few working days. Transit and extension options can differ. These times are estimates, not guarantees, and the final decision belongs to the UAE authorities.
You can speed things up by sending clean files. A blurry scan, a wrong date or a mismatched name can cause delays or rejection. Check every upload before you submit.
Give yourself a safety margin. If you plan to travel in a busy period, such as school holidays or the end of the year, apply earlier than usual. You will have fewer options if flights fill up or dates need to change.
Do not book non-refundable tickets until you have your visa. If your trip is urgent, see the express section below.
Validity and stay are two different things. Visa validity is the period in which you must enter the UAE. Permitted stay is how long you can remain once you enter. The application page shows both numbers for each option, so read them together.
If you choose a 30-day option, plan to leave within the stay period shown. If you choose a 60-day option, the same rule applies to the longer period. Do not count on extra days after your stay ends.
Count your days from the day you enter. Save your entry date. Set a reminder a week before your stay ends. If you overstay, the fine is AED 50 per day from the first day, and other costs may apply.
If you must change your plans, ask about extension options early. Extensions depend on your visa type and are not guaranteed. Rules can change.
After you submit your form, you receive an application ID by email. Keep it safe. You will use it to track your file.
You can follow your result on our Dubai visa status page. Enter your details and check the stage of your application. Do not send repeated applications for the same trip. Duplicates can cause confusion.
When your visa arrives, check every detail. Look at your name, passport number, dates of validity and stay length. If anything is wrong, contact us at once. Saving the file on your phone and printing one copy is a good habit.
Also learn how to spot fake documents. Our guide explains how to check if your Dubai visa is original or fake. Only trust visas that you received through the confirmed application ID.
Sometimes plans change fast. A business meeting comes up, a family event moves or a flight is cheaper on a certain date. In such cases you can look at our express visa service, where available.
Express handling is built for urgent cases, but it is not a guarantee. The speed and availability depend on the visa type and the day you apply. The express page shows the current options and prices.
Even in urgent cases, keep your documents clean. Fast service does not fix a wrong name or a blurry scan. Apply as early as you can, and use express only when your dates are fixed.
Plan the visa step before you finalise your trip. Here is a simple order that works for most travellers from Gabon:
Many travellers start in Libreville, where Léon-Mba International Airport serves the capital. Travellers from Port-Gentil or other towns should plan how they reach their departure airport. Check routes, connections and baggage rules directly with the airlines. We do not make claims about specific routes or flight times.
Check your connection time if you change planes. Make sure your passport and booking details match across all tickets. Some airlines check your visa before you board, so keep it ready on your phone.
Staying in touch during your trip is also part of planning. Some calling apps work differently in the UAE. Our guide on Skype and WhatsApp in Dubai explains what to expect.
Most problems are easy to avoid. Watch for these common mistakes:
Take ten minutes to review the form before you pay. Read each field slowly. If you are unsure, send us a message before you submit.
