14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
If you are searching for a Dubai visa from Armenia, start with the good news: Armenian citizens can enter the UAE without a visa for tourism stays of up to 90 days. Many travellers from Yerevan, Gyumri and other Armenian towns will not need to apply at all. This guide explains who is covered, who still needs a visa, and how to apply for a Dubai visa online when you do. It also covers foreign passport holders who live in Armenia.
Dubai E Visa Online is a private visa service. We are not a UAE government body, and approval always rests with UAE immigration.
For ordinary tourist travel, the answer is usually no. A visa waiver for Armenian nationals took effect on 15 February 2024. Under it, Armenian nationals can enter the UAE without a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism. This follows a memorandum between the Armenian and UAE foreign ministries.
Travellers who search for an Armenian passport holders Dubai visa often expect a long process. In most tourist cases, there is none. You still need to meet the entry conditions and pass UAE immigration on arrival.
Rules can change. Confirm the current position with UAE immigration (ICP) or your airline before you book.
The waiver applies to Armenian nationals travelling as tourists. The conditions reported when it was announced were a passport valid for at least six months from the entry date, valid health insurance, and a return or onward ticket. Please check whether these conditions are still current before you fly.
The waiver is for tourism only. Those travelling for study, work or other purposes still need the relevant visa in advance. A visa-free tourist entry is not a way to start a job or a course.
Many Armenian visitors will never need our service. We would rather tell you that than sell you a visa you do not need.
For visa-free tourist entry, plan around these basics:
Armenian travellers should also keep digital and paper copies of every document. If a phone battery fails at the airport, a printed set saves time. Keep the originals in your hand luggage, not in a checked bag.
Airlines may check documents before boarding. If the check-in desk at Yerevan airport asks for proof of your plans, a printed hotel booking, insurance and ticket can help.
A visa is still the right choice in several situations:
Our Armenia application page lists 30, 60 and 90 day options, a 2-year freelancer visa and several extensions. For long stays, read our guide to the Dubai 2 year visa. We cannot guarantee approval for any application.
Business travellers should think about purpose as well as length. A short trip for meetings is a visit. Working for a UAE company needs the correct work permit. If you are unsure which side your trip falls on, ask before you fly, not at the airport.
If you do need a visa, these are the visit options shown on our Armenia page. The details come from our application page at the time of writing. They can change, so confirm them at checkout.
| Option | Entry | Stay | Visa validity | Listed processing time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 Day Short | Single | 7 days | 60 days | 1–2 days |
| 30 Day Single | Single | 30 days | 60 days | 3–4 days |
| 30 Day Multiple | Multiple | 30 days | 60 days | 3–4 days |
| 60 Day Single | Single | 60 days | 60 days | 3–4 days |
| 60 Day Multiple | Multiple | 60 days | 60 days | 3–4 days |
| 90 Day Leisure | Single | 90 days | 60 days | 1–2 days |
We also list a 14-day business visa and 48-hour and 96-hour transit visas. Check first whether your passport already allows visa-free entry before you pay for one of these.
A single-entry visa covers one trip. Once you leave the UAE, the visa is used. A multiple-entry visa lets you leave and come back within its validity, for example if you plan a side trip and then return to the UAE.
A 30 day Dubai visa for Armenian citizens fits a standard visit by someone who needs a visa, such as a foreign resident of Armenia, or by an Armenian traveller who prefers a pre-approved entry route. A 60 day Dubai visa for Armenian citizens suits a longer family visit for the same groups. Pick the shortest option that covers your plan, and remember that Armenian tourists may not need a visa for stays within 90 days.
Two numbers matter. Stay is how many days you may remain in the UAE. Visa validity is the window in which you must enter. On our page, a 30-day single-entry visa shows 30 days of stay and 60 days of visa validity. You must enter within the 60-day window, then stay up to 30 days.
Some options can be extended. Our page lists 30-day and 60-day extensions for people already inside the UAE. Not every visa type can be extended, and extension fees are separate from your first visa price. If you entered visa-free, check with us whether an extension is possible for your case.
Do not count on a grace period after your stay ends. The current overstay fine is AED 50 for each day, starting from the first day of overstay.
Once you know you need a visa, the requirements are simple. Eligibility starts with your passport nationality, not just the city where you live. Your passport needs at least six months of validity and at least four blank pages. You also need clear colour scans of your documents and your trip details.
UAE immigration does not usually explain a refusal. A complete and accurate application is your best protection.
Keep these ready before you start:
Armenian names are written in Latin letters on the passport, and several spellings of the same name exist. Always copy the spelling printed on the bio page, not the spelling you use on social media or other documents.
No degree certificate appears in this standard list. If that question worries you, see our guide to a UAE visa without a degree certificate.
If you are a foreign national living in Armenia, the starting point is your own passport, not your Armenian residence. Your residence does not turn a foreign passport into an Armenian one. Some nationalities have visa-free or visa-on-arrival routes, and others need a visa. Always check the rule for your own passport first.
Search terms vary. Some people type Dubai visa for Armenian residents to mean people who live in Armenia. Others mean Armenian nationals who live abroad. This page covers both groups.
Residence-based rules also exist for other countries. Our guide to the Dubai visa for Qatar residents shows how that works elsewhere. Some travellers also qualify through other documents, such as US green card holders.
Foreign residents in Yerevan and other Armenian cities should first check whether their own passport allows visa-free entry. If it does not, you can apply with us. On the form, choose your country of citizenship, then choose Armenia as the country where you live.
Keep your Armenian residence documents nearby. We do not list them as a standard upload, but they can help if immigration asks where you live. Also make sure your permission to live in Armenia will not run out before you return.
Some families visit Dubai first to plan a longer move. If a spouse has questions about working in the UAE later, see our guide on working in the UAE with a husband's visa.
For a foreign passport holder who lives in Armenia, the checklist is short:
If your passport is close to expiry, renew it first. A renewal may take time, so start early.
If you need a visa, do not leave it to the last week. Most options on our page show 3–4 days of listed processing time, and mistakes cause delays. The steps below work for Armenian passport holders and for foreign residents in Armenia.
You do not visit an office for an e-visa, so you can apply from home.
Many delays start with the upload step. Take the passport photo in good light, with all four corners visible. Do not use filters. Save files in a common format and keep them small enough to upload.
Check dates of birth and passport numbers twice. Armenia and the UAE share the same time zone, so there is no time gap to worry about when you contact our support team.
After approval, check that your visa is genuine. Our guide explains how to check if a Dubai visa is original or fake.
Visa-free entry means you do not pay for a visa. If you need one, the price shown on our application page includes the UAE government charge plus our service fee for acting as your sponsor. Prices vary by visa type, nationality and the details of your application.
The final amount appears before you pay. Please read it carefully. Express processing and extensions have their own charges, and these are different from the base price. We do not present any estimate as an official government fee.
When you compare quotes, look at what each price covers. A fair Dubai visa price for Armenian citizens should show the government charge and the service fee in plain terms. It should also say whether extras, such as express handling, cost more.
If a quote seems far below the others, ask what it includes and whether the visa is issued through a licensed sponsor. A low headline price can hide extra charges at the final step.
Before paying anything, ask one simple question: do I need a visa at all? If you are travelling as a tourist on an Armenian passport and your stay is within the limit, you may not.
Listed processing times on our Armenia page are working-day estimates. Most 30-day and 60-day options show 3–4 days. The 7-day, 90-day leisure and 48-hour transit options show 1–2 days. The 96-hour transit option shows 4–5 days, and the 2-year freelancer visa shows 15–30 days.
These are not guarantees. As a simple rule, apply at least a week before you plan to fly. If a document needs to be corrected, that extra week keeps your trip on track.
Weekends, UAE public holidays and incomplete documents can add time.
If your travel date is close, you can choose express processing at checkout where it is offered for your visa type. It costs extra and is separate from the regular fee. Express handling does not guarantee approval or a fixed time. See our express visa page for details.
You can track your application any time with the application ID you received. Open the Dubai visa status page and enter it. We also send updates by email, so use an address you check often and look in your spam folder.
If your status has not changed after the listed time, contact our support team and keep your application ID ready.
Where you start your trip changes little about the visa itself, but it changes your planning. Yerevan is the capital and the main departure point for most travellers, and Gyumri is Armenia's second city. Applicants in both can apply online. We do not make claims about flights, airlines or routes, because schedules change.
