14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
Planning a trip to Dubai with a Venezuelan passport starts with the visa, not the flight. A Dubai visa for Venezuelan citizens must be arranged before you travel, and you can apply for a Dubai visa online by uploading your passport bio page and a photo. This works whether you live in Caracas, Maracaibo or Valencia, or in Madrid, São Paulo or Milan. Your visa depends on your passport nationality, not on where you currently live.
Dubai E Visa Online is a private visa service, not a UAE government website. We prepare your application, check your documents and submit it through a UAE-based sponsor. Final approval always rests with UAE immigration. This page explains the requirements, the visa options, the documents, the fees and the practical points that matter for travelers applying from Venezuela or from abroad on a Venezuelan passport.
Venezuelan passport holders are not on the UAE's visa-free list, and they are not covered by the visa-on-arrival scheme. In practice, UAE visa requirements for Venezuelan citizens mean a pre-approved visa is needed before you board your flight. Airlines normally check this at departure, so arriving at the airport without a visa usually means being refused boarding.
The UAE widened its visa-on-arrival programme in June 2026. That change covers ordinary passport holders from six specific countries, and only if they hold a qualifying residence permit from places such as the US, an EU member state, the UK or Canada. Venezuela is not one of those six countries. A residence permit from Spain, Italy or any other qualifying country therefore does not give a Venezuelan passport holder visa-on-arrival rights. The scheme depends on both nationality and residence, and a Venezuelan passport fails the nationality test.
The same rule applies to children. Minors travelling on Venezuelan passports need their own visa, and each child's passport must meet the same validity and blank-page requirements as an adult's.
Rules change, so check the current position before you book. Our application page always shows the options available for your nationality and living country at the time you apply.
Many people searching for a Dubai visa from Venezuela fall into different groups, and the right answer depends on which one you belong to.
Venezuelan citizens living in Venezuela apply with their Venezuelan passport and need a pre-arranged visa. If you live in Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia or any other city, the online process is the same.
Venezuelan passport holders living abroad are still treated as Venezuelan nationals. A Venezuelan living in Spain, Brazil, Italy, Colombia or the United States applies with their Venezuelan passport. Your country of residence may matter for how you fill in the form, but it does not turn you into a citizen of that country.
Foreign nationals living in Venezuela follow the rules for their own passport, not the Venezuelan one. A foreign resident in Venezuela should check what applies to their passport nationality before applying, because some nationalities can enter the UAE visa-free while others need a visa. Residence in Venezuela does not decide this.
Dual nationals should work out which passport they will use to enter the UAE and check that nationality's rules. Apply with the same passport you will show at the airport and at UAE immigration, so the visa and the travel document match.
Nationality and residence are separate questions. Nationality usually decides whether you need a visa at all. Residence can affect which application route is available and what extra information may be requested.
The most common choices for a Dubai tourist visa for Venezuelan citizens are the 30-day and 60-day e-visas. Each comes as single entry or multiple entry. Shorter visit, business and transit visas are available too. Current "starting from" prices per person are below.
| Visa type | Entries | Permitted stay | Visa validity | Processing | From |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7-day short visit | Single | 7 days | 60 days | 1–2 days | $125 |
| 14-day business | Single | 14 days | 58 days | 1–2 days | $138 |
| 30-day visit | Single | 30 days | 60 days | 3–4 days | $154 |
| 30-day visit | Multiple | 30 days | 60 days | 3–4 days | $450 |
| 60-day visit | Single | 60 days | 60 days | 3–4 days | $421 |
| 60-day visit | Multiple | 60 days | 60 days | 3–4 days | $700 |
| 48-hour transit | Single | 48 hours | 30 days | 1–2 days | $121 |
| 96-hour transit | Single | 96 hours | 30 days | 4–5 days | $137 |
Prices include UAE government charges plus our service fee. They can vary by visa type, duration and processing option, so confirm the final amount on the application page before you pay.
For a 30 day Dubai visa for Venezuelan citizens, the single-entry option is the usual starting point for a holiday or a family visit. It is the lowest-cost standard visit visa and is enough for most first trips. The multiple-entry version suits travelers who plan to leave and re-enter the UAE during the same trip, for example for a side trip to a neighbouring country.
For a 60 day Dubai visa for Venezuelan citizens, choose it when you are visiting relatives for longer, combining leisure with a short business trip, or planning a trip where 30 days feels tight. Given how long and costly the journey from Venezuela can be, many travelers prefer to book the longer stay once rather than rely on an extension.
The 7-day visit visa and the 14-day business visa suit short trips: an event, a meeting, or a quick holiday. The transit visas are for layovers, and they are worth considering because Venezuelan itineraries to Dubai almost always involve connections.
To compare these categories in more detail, see our guide to Dubai visa types.
These three terms are different, and Venezuelan applicants often mix them up.
Visa validity is the window in which you must enter the UAE after the visa is issued. A 30-day single-entry visa is valid for 60 days, which means you must enter within that 60-day window.
Permitted stay is how long you may remain after you enter. For that same visa, the permitted stay is 30 days from your date of entry, not from your date of issue.
Number of entries tells you how many times you can enter the UAE during the validity period. A single-entry visa covers one entry. Once you leave the UAE, it is used. A multiple-entry visa allows you to leave and re-enter within the validity window, but the permitted stay still applies to each period as set by your visa terms.
Some visas can be extended. The 30-day visit visas are listed as extendable by up to 30 days, and the 60-day single-entry visa by up to two weeks, subject to UAE rules and approval. Do not assume you will be able to extend. If you need a longer stay, apply for the right visa from the start.
A tourist or visit visa does not allow employment, whatever its length. Anyone planning to work in the UAE needs a separate work authorization. Our Dubai tourist visa guidelines explain what a visit visa does and does not cover.
Having your documents ready before you start makes the application faster and reduces the risk of mistakes. For most Venezuelan applicants, you will need:
The six-month rule deserves attention in Venezuela's case. Renewing or replacing a passport can take time, and processing times vary by consulate and by where you live. Check your passport's expiry date before you pay for a visa. If the passport is close to the six-month limit, renew it first, because a visa issued on a passport that does not meet the entry requirements causes problems at the airport.
Name and date-of-birth mismatches are among the most common causes of delay. Type your name exactly as it appears in your passport, including any second surnames, and check every date before submitting. Our guide to common reasons for Dubai visa rejection lists other mistakes to avoid.
Applicants with a longer stay planned or travelling as a family should upload each person's documents separately. Every traveler needs their own passport copy and photo.
The online process takes a few minutes once your documents are ready. Here is how to apply:
Our guide on how to check Dubai visa status online explains what each status means and what to do if nothing changes.
If your travel dates are close, the Dubai express visa option offers faster handling. Timing still depends on UAE immigration, and approval is never guaranteed, so avoid committing to non-refundable plans before your visa arrives. We recommend booking flights after your visa is approved.
The table earlier in this page shows current "starting from" prices. A few points help you read them correctly.
The Dubai visa cost for Venezuelan citizens depends mainly on how long you need to stay and how many entries you want. A single-entry visa costs much less than a multiple-entry one of the same duration. Because the price is per person, a family trip multiplies the total, so count every traveler, including children, before you budget.
The price shown includes UAE government charges plus our service fee. It does not include flights, travel insurance, accommodation or any visa extension you may need later. Visa fees can also change, so check the application page for the amount that applies on the day you apply.
On processing time, the 30-day and 60-day visit visas are listed at 3–4 days, while the 7-day visit, 14-day business and 48-hour transit visas are listed at 1–2 days, and the 96-hour transit visa at 4–5 days. These are working estimates, not promises. Processing can take longer around public holidays, during busy periods, or if UAE immigration requests more information. Build in extra time, and apply well before your trip rather than a few days ahead.
If you need the visa faster, ask about the express option. It is designed for urgent cases, and timing remains subject to UAE immigration.
For travelers in Caracas, the process is fully online. Applicants in Maracaibo, Valencia or other cities follow the same steps, so there is no need to travel to the capital or to visit a consulate to submit an application. You need a device with internet access, a scan or clear photo of your passport, and a photo that meets the requirements.
The route to Dubai is the part that usually needs more planning. Flight listings show no nonstop Caracas–Dubai service, so most itineraries connect through a hub, and Istanbul and Madrid are among the common options. Total journey times are long, and schedules change often, so check current routes and baggage rules before you buy tickets.
Connections affect your visa choice in two ways:
If you want a visa for Dubai from Caracas for a short stay, the 7-day visit visa is a lower-cost option. For a family trip or a longer stay, 30 or 60 days gives more room. Whatever you choose, match the visa dates to your actual flight plan. Entering after your visa validity window closes means the visa cannot be used.
Many Venezuelans live outside Venezuela, and this page also serves people searching from Spain, Brazil and Italy. The key point is that residence does not change your passport nationality. If you travel on a Venezuelan passport, the Venezuelan visa rules apply wherever you live.
| If you live in… | What to know |
|---|---|
| Spain | Venezuelan passport holders in Spain apply online with their Venezuelan passport. A Spanish residence card does not create visa-on-arrival rights for Venezuelans. Spanish citizens follow different UAE rules. |
| Brazil | Venezuelans living in Brazil need a pre-arranged visa on a Venezuelan passport. Brazilian passport holders are treated under their own nationality's rules. |
| Italy | Venezuelan passport holders living in Italy apply the same way. Italian residence does not replace a visa, and Italian citizens have separate entry rules. |
Spain is home to one of the largest Venezuelan communities in Europe, and many travelers there search for a Dubai visa from Spain on a Venezuelan passport. The process is the same as for anyone applying online: select Venezuela as your citizenship, select Spain as your living country, and upload your Venezuelan passport and photo. Madrid and Barcelona offer many onward connections to the Gulf, which can make flight planning easier than from Venezuela, but your visa is still required before you board.
Venezuelans living in Brazil should be careful not to confuse Brazilian entry rules with their own. Brazilian passport holders are on a different footing for UAE travel, but a Venezuelan passport is treated as Venezuelan wherever it is used. If you hold both passports, decide which one you will travel on and apply accordingly. If you hold only a Venezuelan passport and a Brazilian residence document, apply as a Venezuelan citizen.
For Venezuelans in Italy, the documents are the same as anywhere else: your Venezuelan passport bio page, a color photo and your travel details. An Italian residence permit does not replace any of them. If you will stay with family in Dubai, you can share their Emirates ID in place of hotel details.
A visa is necessary, but it is only one part of a smooth trip. Before you leave, run through these checks.
Check your passport. Confirm it has six months' validity from your travel date and four blank pages. Keep a digital copy separate from the original.
Match your name everywhere. The name on your passport, visa and flight ticket must be identical. Differences in surnames or the order of names can cause delays at check-in.
Print your e-visa. Carry a printed copy as well as a digital one. Airline staff may ask to see it at departure and immigration officers may ask for it on arrival.
Confirm your onward or return travel. Have your return or onward ticket ready, along with accommodation details or the contact details of your host.
Respect your permitted stay. Leave the UAE before your permitted stay ends. Overstaying leads to fines and can complicate future travel, and the rules and amounts can change, so confirm current penalties through official sources before you travel.
Know what your visa covers. A visit visa suits tourism, visiting family or friends, and short business trips such as meetings or events. A transit visa suits a layover. None of these allows employment in the UAE.
Plan for the long journey. With connections, the trip from Venezuela can take well over a day. Choose a visa duration and flight dates that leave room for delays, and avoid tight connections.
If your application is refused, do not reapply immediately without understanding why. Read what to do after a Dubai visa rejection to learn the usual causes and your options. Fixing the underlying issue, such as a document problem or a name mismatch, matters more than reapplying quickly.
