14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
Vanuatu citizens who want to visit Dubai, one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), can apply online for a UAE tourist (visit) visa issued as an e-visa. Vanuatu passport holders require a UAE visa before travelling to Dubai. The appropriate visa type depends on the purpose and duration of the trip. Depending on your plans, you can choose a tourist visa for 30 or 60 days, a short business visa, or a 48-hour or 96-hour transit visa. Each option has its own price, processing time and conditions, which are shown on the visa cards on this page.
To keep things clear, this guide uses the following terms. “Dubai e-visa” means the electronic UAE visit visa issued for travel to Dubai. “Tourist visa” and “visit visa” describe short-stay UAE entry permits, but they can represent different visa categories and purposes. Business and transit visas are described separately. Residence, employment and student visas are sponsored permits and are not issued through this tourist-visa application.
The application is completed online. You upload a copy of your passport and a photograph, choose your visa type, pay the fee and track the result online. Approval is decided by UAE immigration, and processing times and prices vary by visa type and can change.
This page explains the documents you need, how to apply step by step, the visa types and prices available to Vanuatu citizens, how to extend a stay, and what happens if you overstay. If anything in your situation is unusual, such as a recently renewed passport or a long stopover, contact our visa experts before you pay.
Vanuatu citizens applying for a Dubai tourist visa generally need the documents below. Having them ready before you start makes the application much faster.
Vanuatu passport: Your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date you enter the UAE.
Passport bio page copy: Upload a clear colour copy of the page with your photo and personal details. Make sure no part is covered by a finger, paper or any other object, and that all four edges are visible.
Passport-style photograph: One recent colour photo of you with a plain white background. Follow the current photo requirements shown during the application process.
Travel itinerary: Return or onward flight details. We recommend you book flights only after the visa is approved.
Accommodation details: A hotel booking, or the address of the person you will stay with in the UAE. If you stay with relatives or friends who live in the UAE, a copy of the host’s Emirates ID may be requested. This is not required for every applicant.
Supporting documents (only if requested): For example, an invitation letter from a UAE company for a business visa, or proof of funds if immigration asks for it.
Common reasons for delays include blurry or cropped passport copies, photos with a coloured background, and names that do not match the passport exactly. Enter your name, passport number and dates exactly as they appear in your Vanuatu passport, and check every upload before submitting.
Open the application page and select “I am a citizen of: Vanuatu.” Then choose “I am living in” and select the country where you currently live. This selection decides which visa options and prices you see.
Review the list of visa types, durations and prices, and choose the one that matches your trip, such as a 30-day single-entry or a 48-hour transit visa.
Click “PROCEED TO APPLY,” complete the application form and upload your passport bio page and photograph.
Pay the visa fee online. Use the payment methods currently displayed at checkout.
After payment, you will receive an email with your application ID. Keep it for tracking and support.
Track your application online. Estimated processing times appear on each visa card: about 1–2 days for the 48-hour transit visa, 3–4 days for 30- and 60-day tourist visas, and 4–5 days for the 96-hour transit visa. These are estimates, not guarantees.
When the visa is approved, download and print it, and carry a copy when you travel.
Book your flights only after the visa is approved.

Vanuatu citizens can choose from several visa types on this page. The right one depends on how long you plan to stay and why you are travelling.
1. Tourist Visa: This visa lets Vanuatu citizens visit Dubai for leisure. Common options are 30 days or 60 days, with single or multiple entry. Whether a tourist visa can be extended depends on the specific visa type. The “Extendable” label on each visa card shows the current position for that product, so check it before you buy. If a visa cannot be extended and you want to stay longer, you would need to leave and apply for a new visa.
2. Visit Visa: Visit visas cover specific purposes such as visiting family or friends and may have different eligibility, validity and extension conditions from tourist visas. Check the specific visa type and current conditions before applying.
3. Business Visa: Business-related UAE entry permits are available for eligible travellers attending meetings, conferences, business activities or exploring business opportunities. The validity, permitted stay and documentation depend on the specific visa category.
4. Transit Visa: UAE transit visas are available for eligible passengers travelling through Dubai, including 48-hour and 96-hour options. These visas are generally arranged through approved airlines and require an onward ticket. Transit visas are generally not extendable.
5. Visa Extension or Status Change: For visitors already in the UAE, options include an inside-country extension and an airport-to-airport (A2A) status change. See the Extension section below.
Other visa types: Residence, employment and student visas are different from tourist visas and are not applied for through this page. A UAE residence visa is issued through a sponsor such as an employer, a family member who lives in the UAE, or an educational institution. An employment visa is itself a work-based residence permit, so you do not need an employment visa before applying for a residence visa. Procedures, validity and renewal rules differ for each category, so check the official guidance for the one that applies to you.

Dubai e-visa fees for Vanuatu citizens in 2026 depend on the visa type, duration and number of entries. The prices shown below are the service prices available through this website and may include applicable government and service charges. They are not government-only visa fees. The prices in the table below range from USD 136 for a 48-hour transit visa to USD 726 for a 60-day multiple-entry visa. Prices are per person, are subject to change, and the final amount is confirmed at checkout.
| TYPE OF VISA | VISA FEE (USD) |
|---|---|
| 30 Days Single Entry | 166.0 USD |
| 30 Days Multiple Entry | 476.0 USD |
| 60-Day Single Entry | 426.0 USD |
| 60-Day Multiple Entry | 726.0 USD |
| 14-Day Single Entry | 156.0 USD |
| 30 Days Inside A2A Visa Extension Single Entry | 476.0 USD |
| 60 Days Inside A2A Visa Extension Single Entry | 576.0 USD |
| 48-Hour Dubai Transit Visa | 136.0 USD |
| 96-Hour Dubai Transit Visa | 151.0 USD |
Important: Confirm that the prices in this table match the current prices displayed on the corresponding visa cards. For example, the 30-day single-entry price currently differs between the table and visa card, so this must be corrected before publication.
When you compare prices, look at the duration, the number of entries and whether the visa can be extended, not just the headline fee. A multiple-entry visa costs more than a single-entry visa for the same length of stay, so choose it only if you plan to leave and re-enter the UAE. For a short stopover, a transit visa is usually the cheaper option.
If you are already in Dubai and want to stay longer, you may be able to extend your visit visa or change your visa status. Eligibility depends on your visa type and on approval by UAE immigration. Apply before your current visa expires, and check the “Extendable” label on your visa card, because not every visa can be extended. Below you can find how to apply, the fees to expect and the types of extension.
The steps for the visa extension are listed below:
Open the application page and select your citizenship (Vanuatu) and your country of residence.
Click “Apply for Dubai visa,” then select the extension option that matches your visa, such as the 30-day tourist visa extension, and click “Proceed to Apply.”
Complete the application form and upload the documents requested.
Pay the fee shown for the extension. Submit your application well before your last valid day.
After you apply, you can check your Dubai visa status online.

The government entry-permit extension fee may include a request fee and issuance fee, while additional charges can apply depending on the applicant's status and the service used. Confirm the current government charges with the applicable UAE immigration authority before applying. The final amount charged through this website may also include service fees, typing or e-service charges and applicable taxes, so use the price on the extension product page as the full cost of the service.
The maximum extension length depends on the visa type. For example, the visa cards on this page show an extension of up to 30 days for 30-day visas and up to 2 weeks for the 60-day single-entry visa, while some visas are not extendable. Use the “Extendable” label on the card you choose and confirm with our visa experts if you are unsure.
Dubai offers various types of visa extensions to accommodate different situations and purposes of stay.
An airport-to-airport (A2A) visa change is a status-change service available for eligible visitors who need to obtain a new UAE visit visa after leaving the UAE. Availability, destination, timing, eligibility and cost depend on the specific service and applicant's visa status. Check the current A2A product details before applying. The 30-day and 60-day A2A options are listed in the price table above.
Eligible tourist and visit visa holders may be able to extend or change their visa without leaving the country. You can apply online from wherever you are staying, and you do not need to travel to another country. Submit your application well before your visa expires, because approval is not instant. Our visa experts can confirm whether your visa qualifies before you pay.

This option means leaving the UAE through a land border and re-entering on a new permit. Availability, applicable fees, border requirements and eligibility depend on the specific service and current UAE immigration rules. Confirm these details before choosing this option.
The grace period after a UAE visa expires or is cancelled depends on the visa or permit category and the applicable UAE immigration rules. Do not assume that every tourist or visit visa has a fixed grace period. Check the current rules for your specific visa before the expiry date and arrange an extension, status change or departure in time.
If you remain in the UAE after the permitted stay or applicable grace period, overstay fines may apply. The applicable fine and the date from which it starts depend on the visa or entry-permit category and current UAE immigration rules. Check your visa status and any outstanding fines through the relevant UAE immigration authority before travelling.
Residence visas have different grace-period rules depending on the residence category. If you hold a UAE residence visa, check the applicable rules for your specific category rather than relying on the tourist-visa rules described on this page.
You can check any outstanding fines on the ICP smart services or the GDRFA Dubai portal before you travel.
Travellers from Vanuatu should plan their journey to Dubai in advance, as available routes generally require at least one connection. Flight schedules and routes can change, so check the latest airline information before booking.
Passport: Make sure your Vanuatu passport meets the UAE's validity requirements before travelling. Your passport should generally be valid for at least six months from your planned date of entry.
Flights: Port Vila to Dubai routes currently operate with connections. Available connection points depend on the airline and travel date, so check current flight schedules before booking.
Airport: Most international travellers from Vanuatu depart through Bauerfield International Airport (VLI) in Port Vila. Check your airline ticket for the correct departure and arrival airports.
Transit through another country: If your itinerary includes a connection outside the UAE, check the transit or entry requirements of the country where you will connect. Requirements can vary according to your passport and whether you need to leave the transit area.
Travel documents: Carry your approved UAE visa, valid passport, flight itinerary and other documents required for your trip. Keep digital and printed copies of important travel documents where possible.
Flight timing: Connecting flights can involve long layovers, so check the complete itinerary rather than relying only on the scheduled flight time.
Transit visa: If Dubai is only a stopover on your journey and you plan to leave the airport, check whether a UAE transit visa is appropriate for your itinerary. UAE transit visas include 48-hour and 96-hour options, subject to eligibility and applicable requirements.
Before travelling: Recheck your UAE visa status, passport validity, airline requirements and connecting-country requirements shortly before departure because travel rules and flight schedules may change.
