14 Day Business Visa

Planning a trip from the Caribbean to the Gulf takes more preparation than most journeys, and the visa is the first step. If you are travelling from Port of Spain, Tobago or anywhere else in the country, you can apply for a Dubai visa online without visiting an embassy. This page explains the Dubai visa for Trinidad and Tobago citizens, what to prepare, and what to expect before you fly.
Trinidad and Tobago is not on the UAE's visa-on-arrival list. Passport holders need a visa arranged before travel, and the UAE embassy's exemption table lists Trinidad and Tobago as "visa required". Airlines can refuse boarding without a valid entry permit, so approval should be in hand before you reach Piarco International Airport.
UAE visit visas are issued through a licensed UAE sponsor. Dubai E Visa Online provides that sponsorship: we check your documents, submit the application, and send the e-visa to your email. We are a private travel agency, not a government body, and the final decision always rests with UAE immigration.
Entry rules can change. Before you pay, confirm that the visa you choose matches your travel purpose and dates.
These are two different situations, and the difference matters.
If you are unsure which category applies, message our team on WhatsApp before applying.
Most travellers from Trinidad and Tobago apply for a tourist or visit e-visa. A visa from this country is valid across all UAE emirates, so it also covers Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. These are the main options on the Trinidad listing:
| Visa | Permitted stay | Visa validity | Entries | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 48-hour transit | 48 hours | 30 days | Single | From $121 |
| 30-day tourist | 30 days | 60 days | Single | From about $154 |
| 60-day tourist | 60 days | 60 days | Multiple | From about $700 |
Other options include 96-hour transit, 14-day business, and 30 and 60-day multiple-entry visas. A 30 day Dubai visa for Trinidad and Tobago citizens is the usual choice for a holiday or a family visit. For a stopover or a business trip, compare the other types in our guide to Dubai visa types and the tourist visa guidelines.
A tourist visa does not allow you to work. Employment, residence and student visas need separate sponsorship.
People often confuse these three, so here is how they differ:
Check all three against your flight dates before you pay.
Prepare these before you start:
Scan the whole page in one frame with no fingers, glare or paper covering any detail. Name and date of birth must match your passport exactly, because small mismatches are a common cause of delays. See our guide to the common reasons for Dubai visa rejection.
The full process is explained on our Dubai visa application page. If your flight is close, our express visa service offers faster processing.
The price you see already includes UAE Government charges and our sponsorship service fee. Prices are listed in US dollars, so your bank may convert the amount and add a foreign-currency fee.
The final cost depends on:
Processing varies by visa type. Short visas are typically quicker than 30 and 60-day visas, so check the processing time shown on your chosen visa before paying. Express service is available for urgent trips, but no approval time can be guaranteed. After applying, you can check your Dubai visa status online. You can also read how to check your visa status online.
Piarco International Airport near Port of Spain is the country's main gateway. No airline currently flies direct between Port of Spain and Dubai, and most itineraries connect at least once, often twice, so travel time is long. That affects your visa plans in three ways:
Dubai is eight hours ahead of Port of Spain. For example, a message sent at midday in Trinidad reaches Dubai in the evening, so allow for the gap when planning urgent applications. Travellers based in Tobago or other towns apply online in exactly the same way.
If an application is refused, find out why before reapplying. Our guide on what to do after your visa is rejected explains the next steps.
