Stay and validity are different. Validity is the window in which the visa can be used. Stay is how long you may remain once you enter. A 90-day leisure option is also listed at a much higher price. This is a choice, not a necessity, for Seychellois citizens. It suits travellers who want a fixed visa document for a trip of up to 30 days. Single entry covers one trip.
