14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
Before you pay anyone for a Dubai visa, check whether your passport already gets you in. Several travel-information sources report that Montenegrin passport holders receive a free entry stamp for up to 90 days at UAE ports of entry, so many tourists never need a paid visa. If your plans are different, you can apply for a Dubai visa online, and this page explains who that suits and who can skip it.
Searches for a Dubai visa from Montenegro come from quite different people. A holidaymaker in Budva wants to know if anything needs arranging. A foreigner living in Podgorica wonders whether Montenegrin residence helps. A business traveller wants a longer or multiple-entry option. The answer differs for each, so we take them in turn.
For ordinary tourism, the sources we checked say no. They list Montenegrin passport holders as visa-free for up to 90 days. The stay is generally reported as 90 days within a 180-day period, so a recent long UAE trip could affect your next one. Check your own dates before you fly.
Two cautions apply:
Free arrival entry is for visiting. It doesn’t cover work, residence or a stay beyond the allowance. It also doesn’t give you approval in hand before you buy flights. Those gaps are where a pre-arranged visa fits.
You travel on a Montenegrin passport. Regional trips sometimes work on a national ID card, but a Dubai trip is a passport trip. Travel-information sites commonly cite six months’ passport validity and proof of onward travel, but those are not official rules we can confirm. Ask your airline what it checks at check-in, because airlines apply their own tests before boarding.
Our own application checklist, covered below, asks for six months’ validity and four blank pages. That is a service checklist, not UAE law. For the latest tourist-rule changes, check current Dubai tourist visa rules and then verify the key points with ICP.
A paid visa is optional for most Montenegrin tourists. It makes more sense in these cases:
Queries like Montenegrin passport Dubai visa and Montenegrin passport holders Dubai visa often come from people checking whether arrival entry covers them. If Montenegro is your only passport and this is a leisure trip within the allowance, start with the free route. Our cards are an optional extra.
Residence is not citizenship. A person living in Podgorica, Budva or Kotor on a Montenegrin residence permit still travels on their own passport. That passport decides which UAE rules apply, not their Montenegrin status.
The phrases people search for sound similar but describe different travellers:
Published UAE arrival concessions for residence-permit holders name permits from other countries. Montenegro wasn’t among them in the sources we checked, so don’t assume a Montenegrin permit gives you arrival entry. Check with ICP or your airline. If your passport isn’t eligible for arrival entry, a pre-arranged visa is the route.
Dual citizens should plan around the passport they’ll show at the UAE border and use that same one throughout the application.
A pre-arranged application is built around the passport you travel on. You’ll need a clear copy of its photo page, a recent colour photo, and travel details as the form asks. Our live checklist doesn’t list a Montenegrin residence permit as a required upload. Confirm on the application form whether any local status document is requested.
These are the products on our live Montenegro page. Two terms matter. “Stay” is how long you can remain after entering. “Validity” is the window in which the visa can be used. They are different numbers. For wider background, see Dubai visa types.
| Product | Entry | Stay | Validity | Extendable (per card) | Processing estimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 Day Short | Single | 7 days | 60 days | Yes | 1–2 days |
| 14 Day Business | Single | 14 days | 58 days | Up to 30 days | 1–2 days |
| 30 Day Single | Single | 30 days | 60 days | Up to 30 days | 3–4 days |
| 30 Day Multiple | Multiple | 30 days | 60 days | Up to 30 days | 3–4 days |
| 60 Day Single | Single | 60 days | 60 days | Up to 2 weeks | 3–4 days |
| 60 Day Multiple | Multiple | 60 days | 60 days | Not extendable | 3–4 days |
| 90 Day Leisure | Single | 90 days | 60 days | Not extendable | 1–2 days |
| 48 Hour Transit | Single | 48 hours | 30 days | Not extendable | 1–2 days |
| 96 Hour Transit | Single | 96 hours | 30 days | Not extendable | 4–5 days |
“Extendable” is conditional. It doesn’t mean an extension will always be granted.
Both 30-day cards show a 60-day validity window and an extension of up to 30 days where available. The single-entry card suits one holiday. The multiple-entry card suits several trips into the UAE within the window. For a Montenegrin citizen on one trip inside the free allowance, these cards mainly add pre-approval.
The 60-day single-entry card allows a 60-day stay with an extension of up to two weeks. The multiple-entry version has the same stay and can’t be extended. The 90 Day Leisure card allows a 90-day stay on one entry, which matches the free arrival allowance reported for Montenegrin citizens. These longer cards matter most to residents whose passports don’t get arrival entry, and to travellers who want an approved visa before flying.
Names overlap, and the label matters less than the purpose. A Dubai tourist visa from Montenegro and a Dubai visit visa for Montenegrin citizens both describe short-stay entry for leisure or family visits. Our cards split them by purpose: “leisure” for holidays and family trips, “business” for meetings.
If you’re staying with relatives or friends in the UAE, our checklist mentions sharing their Emirates ID as accommodation details. A business entry is not permission to work. Employment needs separate work authorisation.
This list comes from our live application checklist. These are service requirements, not a government rulebook.
Each traveller needs their own set. A scan taken in poor light is a common reason applications stall, so photograph your passport page on a flat surface.
Montenegro uses the euro, so the table shows USD, AED and EUR. The USD figures are the live card prices and are unchanged. AED uses the fixed dirham peg of 3.6725 per US dollar. EUR uses roughly 0.86 euro per US dollar, based on September 2026 rates, and moves daily.
| Visa Type | Price (USD) | Price (AED) | Price (EUR) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 Day Short | $125 | AED 459 | €108 |
| 14 Day Business | $138 | AED 507 | €119 |
| 30 Day Single | $154 | AED 566 | €132 |
| 30 Day Multiple | $450 | AED 1,653 | €387 |
| 60 Day Single | $421 | AED 1,546 | €362 |
| 60 Day Multiple | $700 | AED 2,571 | €602 |
| 90 Day Leisure | $850 | AED 3,122 | €731 |
| 48 Hour Transit | $121 | AED 444 | €104 |
| 96 Hour Transit | $137 | AED 503 | €118 |
The prices shown above are approximate and may vary depending on the visa type, nationality, processing time, and other applicable factors. The final fee will be confirmed at the time of application.
Card prices read “starting from.” Our site states that the price includes UAE government charges plus our sponsorship service fee, but the cards don’t itemise the two. Treat each figure as one service price, not an official government fee. For more on what moves the numbers, read about Dubai visa fees.
A search for Dubai visa cost from Montenegro wants one number, but the right figure depends on the card and your passport. Anyone comparing the Dubai visa price for Montenegrin citizens with free arrival entry should be clear about what the money buys. If you qualify for the free route and your trip fits inside it, the paid card buys pre-approval or flexibility, not access.
The estimates on the live cards are:
These are estimates, not promises. Complete documents and clear scans help. Incorrect details can slow or stop an application. If you’re renewing your passport, wait for the new one before applying, since the number on the application needs to match the document you travel with.
The whole process runs online, so you don’t need to be in any particular town. If your timeline is tight, such as a late-booked business trip, look at the express Dubai visa page for the faster options and what each involves. Speed depends on the product, your documents and UAE processing, and it isn’t guaranteed. If you qualify for free arrival entry, express processing probably isn’t relevant to your trip.
The steps are the same from Nikšić or Ulcinj. Our guide to applying in three easy steps walks through the same flow.
Searches for Dubai visa application online Montenegro point to this single process. A Dubai visa application from Montenegro has no separate version by city.
We offer 48-hour and 96-hour transit cards at $121 and $137. Whether you need one depends on your itinerary, airline, time in Dubai and whether you leave the airport. A Montenegrin citizen who qualifies for arrival entry has another way out of the terminal, so a transit card isn’t the only option for a long layover. Read about Dubai transit visa laws, then confirm the details with your airline.
After applying, you can check your Dubai visa status online. Keep your confirmation details handy.
Small errors matter. A misspelt name, a wrong date of birth or a mistyped passport number can lead to rejection. If you spot a mistake, contact support quickly. Whether a correction is possible depends on how far the application has moved.
We can’t promise approval, and rejections can’t always be prevented. Reasons vary, including missing information and unclear documents. Our guide to common reasons for Dubai visa rejection covers the usual causes. If a rejection happens, ask support for the reason and your options.
Extensions follow the same cautious rule. The cards show how much extension is possible, but approval isn’t automatic. Apply before your permitted stay ends, and check current overstay rules at ICP, because older articles often quote outdated figures.
A few practical points apply whether you’re in Podgorica, Budva, Kotor or a smaller town:
If you’re a Montenegrin citizen on a standard holiday, the free arrival route may be all you need. If you hold another passport, want a multiple-entry structure, or want approval before you fly, you can explore Dubai visa options and start your application.
