14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
A Dubai visa for Jordan citizens is generally required before boarding a flight to the UAE, and you can complete the whole Dubai visa application online from Amman, Irbid, Zarqa or anywhere else in Jordan. This page covers what Jordanian passport holders need, which visa options are available, what they cost, and how foreign nationals living in Jordan should approach their application.
Dubai E Visa Online is a private travel agency, not a UAE government body. We prepare and submit your application through a UAE-based sponsor, and approval rests solely with UAE immigration.
Jordanian passport holders should plan to arrange a visa before they travel. Visa-on-arrival is generally not offered to Jordanian citizens, so turning up at Dubai airport without an approved visa risks being refused boarding or entry. Entry rules can change, so confirm with your airline before you book.
Dubai is part of the UAE, so the visa you receive is a UAE visa. It is not limited to Dubai, and you can use it to visit other emirates such as Abu Dhabi and Sharjah within the terms of your visa.
These two things are not the same, and they affect your application differently.
Some travelers holding visas or residence permits from certain countries may be treated differently at UAE entry. These rules depend on nationality, so confirm yours before relying on them.
Most Jordanian travelers apply for one of three categories: a tourist or visit visa, a short business visa, or a transit visa.
The Dubai tourist visa from Jordan suits holidays, shopping trips, events and family visits. Common choices are:
A 14-day business visa covers short commercial visits such as meetings, conferences or exhibitions. A tourist or visit visa does not allow you to take up employment. If you plan to work in the UAE, you need the appropriate work authorization, not a tourist visa.
If your flight stops in Dubai and you want to leave the airport, a Dubai transit visa for Jordanians lets you explore the city during your layover. The two options are 48 hours and 96 hours. Transit visas usually require confirmed onward travel, so check your ticket details before applying.
Longer-stay and extension products, including a 90-day leisure visa and visa extensions, are listed on the apply page.
Prices depend on the visa type, the number of entries, your nationality and residence, and the processing option you choose. The "from" prices below are what the service currently lists for Jordan citizens living in Jordan and include UAE government charges plus the sponsorship service fee. The final price is confirmed on the application form.
| Visa type | Entries | Permitted stay | Visa validity | From (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7-day short visa | Single | 7 days | 60 days | $125 |
| 14-day business visa | Single | 14 days | 58 days | $138 |
| 30-day tourist visa | Single | 30 days | 60 days | $154 |
| 30-day tourist visa | Multiple | 30 days | 60 days | $450 |
| 60-day tourist visa | Single | 60 days | 60 days | $421 |
| 60-day tourist visa | Multiple | 60 days | 60 days | $700 |
| 48-hour transit | Single | 48 hours | 30 days | $121 |
| 96-hour transit | Single | 96 hours | 30 days | $137 |
These are three different things:
For example, a 30-day single-entry visa with 60-day validity means you must enter within 60 days of issue, then stay no longer than 30 days.
Short visas and the 48-hour transit visa are usually listed at 1 to 2 days. The 30-day and 60-day visas are listed at 3 to 4 days, and the 96-hour transit visa at 4 to 5 days. Timelines can vary, so apply well ahead of your departure. For urgent trips, see the Dubai express visa option.
Prepare these before you start:
Each traveler, including children, needs their own passport copy and photo.
A practical point for Jordanian applicants: your name must be spelled in Latin letters exactly as it appears on your passport. Small differences in transliterated names, dates of birth or passport numbers are a common cause of delays and rejections. For more on typical problems, read about the common reasons for Dubai visa rejection.
Applying for a Dubai visa online from Jordan takes a few steps:
If you want to compare visa categories first, the guide to Dubai visa types explains the differences.
The application works the same way wherever you live in Jordan. You upload documents, pay and receive your e-visa by email, so you do not need to visit an office in Amman.
Amman is the main gateway for most Jordan-to-Dubai trips. Flights from Queen Alia International Airport are generally nonstop and run daily, with carriers including Royal Jordanian, Emirates and flydubai. The flight takes roughly three hours, and the UAE is currently one hour ahead of Jordan. Schedules change by season, so check current timetables with the airlines.
Applicants in Irbid and Zarqa usually travel to Queen Alia as well, so the practical advice is the same. Get your visa approved first, then book flights.
