14 Day Business Visa

Brazil is in a different position than most countries searching for a Dubai visa for Brazil citizens. Thanks to a bilateral agreement between Brazil and the UAE, most Brazilian travellers don't need to apply for a tourist or business visa at all before flying to Dubai. That doesn't mean there's nothing to plan, though — knowing exactly how the exemption works, how long it lasts, and what to do if your trip doesn't fit that category can save you real trouble at check-in.
Under the current agreement, Brazilian passport holders travelling for tourism or business can enter the UAE without a pre-arranged visa, for stays of up to 90 days, renewable every 12 months from the date of first entry. This applies specifically to regular passport holders travelling for tourism or business — students and anyone planning to live or work in the UAE still need to apply for the appropriate visa type in advance, since the exemption doesn't extend to study or residence purposes.
If your situation falls into one of these categories, you can start your application through our Dubai visa application page, and applications for the UAE are handled entirely online rather than in person.
Unlike many countries in South America, Brazil has a genuine advantage here: Emirates operates a daily nonstop flight between São Paulo's Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) and Dubai, with a flight time of roughly 15 hours. This makes Brazil one of the few South American countries with direct access to Dubai, so most travellers won't need to route through Europe or North America at all.
The Brazilian Real (BRL) floats freely against other currencies, unlike the UAE Dirham (AED), which is pegged to the US Dollar. This means your BRL-to-AED conversion can shift more noticeably than it would for travellers from countries with currencies pegged to the Dollar. It's worth checking the exchange rate close to your travel date rather than relying on a figure from weeks earlier, especially if the Real has been moving a lot recently.
The UAE maintains an Embassy in Brasília and a Consulate General in São Paulo. However, it's worth knowing that the Consulate General in São Paulo does not process visa applications — all UAE visa processing is handled exclusively online through the official government portal, regardless of which Brazilian city you're in. If you need to move quickly, our Dubai express visa application is built for shorter timelines, and you can track any pending request through our Dubai visa status checker.
We offer a comprehensive range of Dubai visas, including business, tourist, transit, visa extensions, and more. Apply online today and start your Dubai adventure!
