14 Day Business Visa
E-visa • Single Entry
Planning a trip from Minsk, Brest, Grodno, Gomel or another Belarusian city? A Dubai visa for Belarus citizens needs to be arranged before you fly, and you can apply for a Dubai visa online instead of queuing at an embassy. This page explains how the process works for Belarusian passport holders. It also covers what changes if you live in Belarus but hold another nationality, which documents to prepare, and what to expect from fees, processing time and validity.
Dubai E Visa Online is a private online visa service. We are not the UAE government or the UAE immigration authority, and final approval rests with UAE immigration. Entry rules can change, so confirm the current position before you book anything non-refundable.
Based on the sources we reviewed, Belarusian ordinary passport holders are not on the UAE's visa-exempt list. Current travel-requirement sources list a visa as required in advance, with no visa on arrival. In practice, this means a Belarusian traveler should have an approved visa before boarding a flight to Dubai or any other emirate.
You may find older web pages describing visa-free or on-arrival entry for Belarusians. We could not confirm that for a current Belarusian passport, so we suggest planning on a pre-arranged visa. Booking a flight first and discovering the rule at the airport is the costly way to find out.
Several factors affect which visa is right for you:
The UAE does have an embassy in Minsk. Short tourist and visit visas are, however, generally sponsored by a UAE-based licensed agency or airline, and that is the route this page covers. You apply online, and the approved e-visa arrives by email.
Not everyone applying from Belarus holds a Belarusian passport, and not every Belarusian passport holder lives in Belarus. Because of that, the application asks for two things: your nationality and the country where you currently live. They are not the same question.
Belarusian citizens living in Belarus. This is the most common case. You hold a Belarusian passport and apply from Minsk or a regional city. The visa options and documents below are written mainly for you.
Belarusian citizens living abroad. Many Belarusian passport holders live in other countries for study, work or family reasons. Your passport nationality is still Belarusian, so the Dubai visa requirements for Belarusian citizens apply to you wherever you are. Select Belarus as your nationality and your actual country of residence in the "living in" field. Your residence status in that country does not by itself replace the need for a UAE visa.
Foreign nationals living in Belarus. Expats, students, workers and family members with a Belarusian residence permit may also want to travel to Dubai. In this case your passport nationality decides your visa eligibility, not your address. Some nationalities can enter the UAE without a prior visa, while others must apply online. A Belarusian residence permit does not create an exemption of its own, so check your own passport's requirement before booking. Select your real nationality when you start the application. Choosing "Belarus" because you live there will lead to the wrong visa options and possibly a refusal.
The same logic applies to documents. Residents of Belarus holding a foreign passport submit that passport. Belarusian passport holders living abroad submit their Belarusian passport. The page you are reading is written primarily for Belarusian passport holders, with the situations above flagged where residence matters.
The table below summarizes the e-visa options currently shown for Belarusian applicants. Stay, validity and entry type are shown on each visa card. Availability and details can change, so check the application page when you start.
| Visa option | Permitted stay | Visa validity | Entries | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 48-hour transit | 48 hours | 30 days | Single | Short airport connection |
| 96-hour transit | 96 hours | 30 days | Single | Longer layover or short city visit |
| 7-day short visit | 7 days | 60 days | Single | Quick trip or long weekend |
| 14-day business visit | 14 days | 58 days | Single | Short meetings and events |
| 30-day single entry | 30 days | 60 days | Single | Standard holiday |
| 30-day multiple entry | 30 days | 60 days | Multiple | Holiday with a side trip |
| 60-day single entry | 60 days | 60 days | Single | Extended family visit |
| 60-day multiple entry | 60 days | 60 days | Multiple | Longer stay with exits and returns |
| 90-day leisure | 90 days | 60 days | Single | Long leisure stay |
Visa extensions are also listed separately for travelers already in the UAE.
The 30-day and 60-day options are the usual choice for a Dubai tourist visa from Belarus. If you are traveling for sightseeing, shopping, a beach holiday or a first visit, one of these is likely to fit. A 30-day visa is enough for most holidays. The 60-day version suits travelers who want to stay through a longer break or combine a holiday with visiting people.
If a relative or friend in the UAE is hosting you, a visit visa is the relevant category. Hosts who are UAE residents can provide their Emirates ID in place of hotel details. The visa still permits tourism and visiting only; it does not authorize you to take up work.
If your route to a third country passes through the UAE, a 48-hour or 96-hour transit visa can let you leave the airport during your layover. You will normally need a confirmed onward ticket. Transit visas cannot be extended, so they suit planned, fixed-length stopovers rather than flexible trips. For a broader comparison of categories, our guide to Dubai visa types explains the differences in more detail.
The 14-day business visit covers short meetings, conferences and exhibitions. It does not allow you to work or take up employment in the UAE. Long-term work, residence or investor visas follow different procedures, usually sponsored by an employer or company, and are separate from a tourist or visit e-visa. The UAE's general tourist visa guidelines are a useful starting point if you are unsure which side of that line your trip falls on.
Document requirements are short for a tourist e-visa, but small errors cause most delays. Prepare these before starting:
The exact list is shown during your application, and it can vary slightly by visa type.
Use your international travel passport. Belarusians also hold an internal identity document used inside the country. It is not a substitute for the travel passport and is not accepted for a Dubai visa application.
Match your Latin spelling exactly. Belarusian passports print holder details in Belarusian, Russian and English. A name can be transliterated differently in other documents, such as an old passport, a university record or a previous visa. Always enter your name as printed in the Latin letters of your current travel passport's data page and machine-readable zone. A spelling mismatch between your application and passport is a common cause of delay.
Check the passport before paying. If your passport is within six months of expiry, renew it first. The visa is linked to the passport number, so a new passport means a new application.
Scan carefully. A phone photo is acceptable if the page is flat, the whole page is visible, and there is no glare, shadow or covered text.
The process for a Dubai visa application from Belarus is the same whether you apply from Minsk, Vitebsk or abroad:
Minsk is Belarus's capital and largest city, and Minsk National Airport is the country's main international airport. For many applicants, "Dubai visa from Minsk" simply means starting the application while based in the capital. The process is entirely online, so being in Minsk gives you no practical advantage and applying from elsewhere carries no disadvantage.
What the city does affect is the practical planning around the visa:
Flight routes and connections between Belarus and the UAE can change, and not every itinerary is direct. Ask your airline or travel agent about the current routing, and book only after your visa is approved.
The Dubai visa cost from Belarus depends on the visa type, stay length, entry type and processing option. Prices shown for Belarusian applicants currently start from the following amounts per person:
| Visa | Starting price (USD) |
|---|---|
| 48-hour transit | $121 |
| 96-hour transit | $137 |
| 7-day short visit | $125 |
| 14-day business visit | $138 |
| 30-day single entry | $154 |
| 60-day single entry | $421 |
| 30-day multiple entry | $450 |
| 60-day multiple entry | $700 |
| 90-day leisure | $850 |
These figures include UAE government charges and our sponsorship service fee. They are starting prices, and the final amount is displayed during your application before you pay, so check it then.
For Dubai visa processing time from Belarus, the visa cards show roughly 1-2 days for the 7-day, 14-day and 48-hour options. They show about 3-4 days for 30-day and 60-day visas and 4-5 days for the 96-hour transit visa. These are estimates, not guarantees, and the review is carried out by UAE immigration. Public holidays, unclear documents and requests for extra information can add time. If you are short on time, the express Dubai visa option may speed up the process, but approval remains at the discretion of UAE immigration.
Many travelers confuse three separate figures. For a Belarusian applicant, they mean this:
For example, a 30-day single-entry visa has a stay of 30 days but a validity of 60 days. That means you can enter any time in the 60 days after issue, and then stay up to 30 days. It also means you should not apply too early. If a traveler in Minsk applies two months before the trip, the validity window may expire before the flight.
A single-entry visa covers one entry. If you leave the UAE, for example for a side trip to Oman, you cannot return on the same visa. A multiple-entry visa is designed for that pattern.
Some 30-day and 60-day options can be extended while you are in the UAE, and extension routes include an inside-country change or an airport-to-airport change. Extension options and limits differ by visa, so check them before you travel. The 90-day leisure visa is not extendable.
A few practical points reduce risk once your visa is approved:
Most delays come from unclear scans, mismatched names or missing details. For Belarusian applicants, mismatched Latin transliteration and expired or near-expiry passports are the usual culprits. If your application is taking longer than the estimate, check it with the Dubai visa status page using your application ID. Our guide on how to check Dubai visa status online explains what each stage means.
If the visa is refused, read the reasons before reapplying. Our article on the common reasons for Dubai visa rejection covers the usual causes, and what to do after your visa is rejected sets out the next steps. Correct the problem before submitting again, because repeating the same application can lead to the same result. We cannot guarantee approval, as the decision belongs to UAE immigration.
Applying online suits Belarusian travelers who want to avoid unnecessary steps:
