14 Day Business Visa

Antigua and Barbuda passport holders who plan a trip to the UAE need entry permission before they fly. This page shows Antiguan and Barbudan travelers how to apply online for a Dubai visa, which documents to prepare, what shapes the price, and how to follow an application after it is submitted. It is written for citizens of Antigua and Barbuda, for people who live there on another passport, and for Antiguan and Barbudan passport holders who live abroad.
Dubai E Visa Online is a private visa application service. We are not a government body and we do not issue visas. Applications go through a UAE-licensed sponsor, and UAE immigration makes the final decision on each one. We cannot promise approval or a fixed turnaround time.
The figures below come from the options shown on our Antigua and Barbuda application page at the time of writing. Rules and prices can change, so treat the live application form as the final reference.
UAE entry rules depend on the passport you hold. A 2026 passport ranking report in the local press notes that the UAE is among the Gulf states that require visas for Antigua and Barbuda passport holders. There is no visa-on-arrival route for this passport. So plan to hold an approved entry permit before you board. Airlines usually check entry documents at departure.
Policies can change. Confirm your position through official UAE immigration channels, or ask our team, before you buy a ticket.
Your passport nationality drives the rules. Where you live does not replace it, and neither does the way citizenship was acquired. That point matters because many Antiguan and Barbudan families have relatives living in other countries, so mixed situations come up often.
Our form asks two separate questions: which country you are a citizen of, and which country you live in. Answer them separately.
The same logic applies to families. A parent with an Antiguan and Barbudan passport and a child who holds a different passport may face different entry rules.
Travelers from Antigua and Barbuda usually fall into a few groups. Knowing yours makes the form easier.
In daily use, 'tourist visa' and 'visit visa' mostly mean the same short-stay permit. Our Antigua and Barbuda page lists several e-visa options. The table shows the main ones as listed at the time of writing.

Stay is how long you may remain after you enter. Visa validity is the window in which you must enter. They are different numbers, so read both. The page also lists a two-year freelancer option with a much longer processing range, plus inside-country extension options.
Here is a simple way to choose:
Check airline schedules before you decide. We have not confirmed any specific route from Antigua, so if your itinerary includes connections, leave a buffer between visa validity and your travel dates. For a deeper comparison, read our guide to Dubai visa types.
The page lists 48-hour and 96-hour transit permits. They suit travelers who pass through the UAE on the way to another country. Whether you need one depends on your itinerary and on whether you plan to leave the airport. Ask your airline first, then read our summary of Dubai transit visa laws. If you want to stay longer than a few days, a visit visa usually fits better than a transit permit.
This checklist reflects what our Antigua and Barbuda page asks for at the time of writing. Immigration officers can ask for more in individual cases. Each traveler needs their own set, including children.
Check the expiry date before you pay. If your passport needs renewal, start with the Antiguan and Barbudan authorities that handle passports, because their timing is outside our control.
Names need care. Type your names exactly as printed on the passport data page, including middle names, in the same order. Do not shorten them or copy them from older documents that may spell them differently.
If you live abroad, your passport is still the Antiguan and Barbudan one. Upload the passport page, not a foreign residence document. Keep that document nearby in case you are asked about your residence.
Keep your Dubai visa documents in one folder before you start. For most applicants the list is short:
Scan or photograph the passport page flat, in daylight, with all four corners visible and no glare. A finger, paper or shadow over any detail can cause problems later.
For a short overview, see this three-step overview of the process.
Families applying from St. John's or anywhere else in the country should complete one set per traveler. Children need their own passport details and photo. Use the same travel dates for everyone so the records match.
Costs vary. No single fee applies to every Antiguan and Barbudan traveler. These factors change the total:
Two parts make up a typical price. One is the government charge set by UAE authorities in AED. The other is a service fee for sponsorship and handling. Our listed price includes both and appears before you pay. A service fee is not an official government fee, and we never present it as one.
Compare totals, not headlines. A group pays per person, so the price multiplies. Extensions add cost. Check the refund policy before you pay, because some fees may not be refundable. Be careful with offers that promise a guaranteed visa. No service can guarantee approval. For more detail, see how visa pricing is built up.
Dubai visa processing time depends on the visa type, the quality of your documents and immigration workload. Our page lists ranges from 1-2 days for some options to 4-5 days for the 96-hour transit permit and 15-30 days for the freelancer visa. These are listed ranges, not promises.
Plan for delays. Apply well before you book non-refundable travel. Many travelers add a few spare days to the listed range.
Time zones matter too. Dubai is eight hours ahead of Antigua and Barbuda (UTC+4 versus UTC-4). A message sent at 4 pm in St. John's reaches the UAE at midnight, so a reply may come the next UAE working day. UAE public holidays can also slow things down.
If your departure date is close, look at express Dubai visa options. Faster handling may be available for some visa types, usually at extra cost. Availability can change. Express does not remove the need for complete, correct documents, and a missing page can cost more time than speed saves. If your route has few departures each week, one slipped day can cost several, so apply early even when you are not in a hurry.
Read two numbers on your approval: the stay period and the validity window. Enter the UAE inside the validity window. Leave before the stay period ends. Overstaying a UAE visit visa can bring fines and trouble on later trips, so match your return flight to the permitted stay.
Our page lists inside-country extension options for 30 and 60 days. Whether an extension is possible depends on your visa type and on immigration rules. Some options are listed as not extendable, so do not assume you can extend later. If your return depends on a limited connection, build in a spare day.
Antigua and Barbuda is a twin-island country. Antigua is the larger island, and Barbuda lies to its north. An online process helps because you do not need to visit an embassy or office to submit paperwork. Travelers who search how to apply Dubai visa from Antigua and Barbuda can finish every step from a phone or computer.
The country's main international airport, V. C. Bird International, is on Antigua. If you live on Barbuda, your journey may start with a trip to Antigua, so allow time for it. The application steps stay the same wherever you live.
A few practical points for applicants on the islands:
St. John's, on Antigua, is the capital. Many travelers start trip planning with a flight search. Do it in the other order. Confirm your visa type and dates first, then check airline schedules and fares.
We have not confirmed any specific route or airline from Antigua, so check carrier pages directly and do not assume a nonstop flight. If your route includes a connection, ask the airline whether the connecting point needs its own permit. Allow extra time if you travel in from Barbuda before the international departure.
The same checklist works from English Harbour, Codrington or anywhere else in the country.
An approved visa is permission to travel, not a promise of entry. Border officers make the final call on arrival. Carry your passport, a printed copy of the e-visa, return flight details and your accommodation or host details. Keep them in hand luggage. Check your passport validity again before the flight, because the six-month rule still applies at entry.
After you submit, you receive a reference. Use it on our application status page to follow progress at any time. Typical outcomes are pending, approved or rejected. If something needs fixing, respond promptly, because delays on your side add days.
For step-by-step help, read how to check your status online. UAE immigration authorities also run their own online tracking tools. Which one applies depends on the emirate that issued the permit.
Do not book non-refundable flights until you see an approval. Be careful with messages that claim to come from immigration but arrive from unknown senders. Use the channels you already know.
If your application seems slow, first compare the date you applied with the listed range for your visa type. Then check that every document was clear and complete. Contact support if the range has passed.
No one can prevent every rejection. Many problems, though, come from small errors you can avoid. The most common ones include:
Read our list of common reasons for rejection for more examples.
If a rejection happens, read the stated reason, fix the issue and talk to support before you reapply. Do not book flights while a decision is pending.
Start by choosing your visa type and checking your passport dates. Then begin your online application with the documents above ready. Keep your reference handy and check progress on the status page. If time is tight, consider express handling. Questions before you start? Our team is available on chat.
