• The Grand Mosque was built in 1900 as a school for Quran, later replaced in 1960 as a mosque, and finally rebuilt in 1998 in its original architectural style of 1900.

3. The Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque and Centre

The external architecture of the mosque is based on the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul or the Blue Mosque, with remarkable interior design features.

• The mosque was founded in 1986, expanded in 2003, and later demolished in 2010, finally getting rebuilt in 2011.
• Designed by Mohammed Al-Sheikh Moubarak Architects and renovated on the order of Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor (a business leader), this is an architectural and spiritual masterpiece.
